Image Sensors, Mixed Signal IC Design / Layout
Town Line Technologies core group has a wealth of experience conceptualizing, designing, and providing CMOS image sensors. We have experience with a wide range of sensor types and with a variety of targeted applications and markets. From a relatively simple 1x128 line scan device to a 37MP 2D sensor outputting 3Gb/s data rates. Image sensor configurations ranging from image sensor cores to highly integrated with programmable timing engines / video processing.
As pioneers of ACS technology, members of our team are credited with dozens of image sensor related patents. Past projects range from proof of concept prototypes to high volume consumer products, shipping millions of sensors per year. We are experienced in designing sensors for machine vision, x-ray, medical, military, scientific, and consumer applications.
We can sit down with you to work out a customized solution that will keep you on budget and minimize risks while building a roadmap to reach your goals. We have a long and proud history of designing first silicon that produced images first shot, saving critical time and money. With our team and network of partners we can provide a wide range of services and solutions to satisfy your requirements. We can also offer conversion of legacy designs, as well as providing consulting services.
We can provide mixed signal IC design and layout services. Range of services can be as little as you need or full turnkey solutions. We partner with foundries that have process nodes that are mixed signal friendly. We can work with your supplied IP blocks/cores/logic blocks if needed or design internally with our partners. We provide full custom layouts. Although we appreciate the complexities, we are not autoplace/autorouter guru's or script programmers. Let us work with you to build your roadmap and have you up and running with working first silicon. We also offer contract layout
Tanner EDA tools, and Calibre verification when required. Contract layout can be provided with limited onsite work for short durations. Longer contracts can be scheduled for periodic onsite meetings and critical design reviews. Design reviews can take place via online desktop sharing as needed.
PCB Design / Layout
We can tackle your PCB job no matter how large or how small. Everything from riveted single sided to complex multilayer PCB's with high speed diff pairs, and other critical requirements. Our designers are members of the IPC Design Council, IPC CID certified, and veterans in the industry. We can take it from the concept stage all the way to assembled boards and testing prototypes or just work from your schematic / BOM and provide a CAD/CAE file package.
We use Mentor Graphics PADS ES suite of tools to design your PCB. We will work with your preferred partners and providers if you have them or introduce you to ours, or manage the entire project. We can offer schematic capture, design and FPGA design (with our partners). DFM, DFT and GD&T design methodologies are incorporated to give you a maximum solution while lowering cost and improving yield. Design reviews can take place face to face or via online desktop sharing as needed.
Have only a set of mylars or plots for that critical legacy product? No problem! We can provide reverse engineering solutions such as converting your PCB to a CAD/CAE database with gerber files, netlists, x/y part positions, etc. We can help you migrate your design to surface mount technologies available today. We began our careers in the early days of pcb assemblies.
